Who "We" Are

Tom Johnson & Neldra Delpit are the founders of

Our Neighbors In Need.

We are not a non-profit organization according to US IRS standards, but we are looking into that possibility. All donations are currently given to non-profit organizations.

Welcome to OurNeighborsInNeed.com

Neldra DelpitLocated in Taylorsville, NC, Our Neighbors in Need started as a personal project of Neldra Delpit. Several years ago, Neldra began creating comfort gift bags to take to the women's shelter as Christmas gifts. After a few visits, she could see the need year-round for more of the basic necessities that were contained in her gift bags. Over the years, her project has expanded to taking as many comfort gift bags as she can to numerous charitable organizations.
