In 2009, as of 9/1, we've delivered 1350 comfort gift bags to:

• Lenoir & Hickory Soup Kitchens,
• Bethlehem Food Bank,
• Christian Crisis Center-Taylorsville Food Bank,
• Exodus Homes,
• DVRC-Domestic Violence Resource Center,
• Red Cross,
• Bethesda Hospital,
• Walter Reed Hospital

Who "We" Are

Tom Johnson & Neldra Delpit are the founders of

Our Neighbors In Need.

We are not a non-profit organization according to US IRS standards, but we are looking into that possibility. All donations are currently given to non-profit organizations.

Who Else is Helping OurNeighborsInNeed.com?

Several businesses and youth groups in Taylorsville North Carolina have worked with Neldra on the Our Neighbors in Need project. Many are still involved. Check back soon for where to find donation boxes in Taylorsville and surrounding NC area.

Volunteers

Neldra has started enlisting members of various local youth groups to assemble the gift baskets.
In Taylorsville North Carolina, members of the following groups have helped assemble and distribute comfort gift bags to our neighbors in need:

• Girl Scouts
• Jr. Beta Club
• YMCA Day Camp kids
• Red Cross Youth Group.
